Beaverlodge RCMP investigating break and enter to La Glace fire hall; “The estimated value of the items is over $10,000”

Beaverlodge, Alberta – Beaverlodge RCMP are investigating a recent break and enter that occurred at a Fire Hall in the County of Beaverlodge.

Sometime between 6 p.m., on July 1, 2020 and 9 a.m., on July 2, 2020, a suspect forcibly entered the La Glace Fire Hall.

Numerous items were stolen from the Fire Hall, including the following:

• Milwaukee cordless tools

• Milwaukee 6 bank battery charger and spare battery’s

• Milwaukee cordless light stand (x2)

• Milwaukee shop vacuum

• Hotsy pressure washer

• Approximately $250 in ribs

The estimated value of the items is over $10,000.

The theft of these items is particularly concerning as the loss could directly impact the ability of Fire Services to respond to emergency calls from the public causing dangerous situations where the fire service may be unable to protect, preserve or prevent the loss of life.
