Wood Buffalo RCMP seek public assistance in mischief case; “suspect left racially related writings on the victim’s vehicle”

Fort McMurray, Alberta – On July 22, 2020 at approximately 5:00 p.m., Wood Buffalo RCMP received a report of mischief which occurred in a parking lot near Timberlea Landing, in the 200 block of Powder Drive. The suspect left racially related writings on the victim’s vehicle and is alleged to have slashed the tires.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in order to identify suspect(s). If you have any surveillance footage, camera recordings, or witnessed any suspicious activity taking place in the parking lots located along the south side of the 200 block of Powder Drive, between 3:45 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on July 22, 2020, you are encouraged to contact Wood Buffalo RCMP at 780-788-4040.
