Taber Police respond to collision at intersection of 52nd Street and Highway 36, Regina male charged

Taber, Alberta – On August 1, 2020, at approximately 3:40 am, Taber Police Service members came upon a collision that had just occurred. Taber Police and Taber Emergency Services responded to the multi-vehicle collision near the intersection of 52 Street and Highway #3.

The investigation revealed that an eastbound truck pulling a holiday trailer lost control and struck numerous parked vehicles along the highway, causing approximately $40,000 in damage.

The driver had fled the scene, but was eventually located at Taber Hospital with minor injuries.

Charges are pending against a 44 year old male from Regina, Saskatchewan.

The police investigation is ongoing.
