Canmore, Alberta – On July 28, 2020 Jesus Fernando Pina-Aguirre (34) of Cochrane, Alta., turned himself to Canmore RCMP on the outstanding warrant for his arrest.
In addition to the sexual interference charge from the incident reported to police in January 2020, Pina-Aguirre has also been charged with one count of sexual interference for an alleged incident on March 17, 2019 in Banff, Alta.
Both incidents occurred when Pina-Aguirre had been hired as a care-giver and the victims were both under the age of 10.
Following a judicial hearing, Pina-Aguirre was released with conditions and is scheduled to appear in Canmore Provincial Court on Aug. 19, 2020 in relation to both the Canmore and Banff charges.
Conditions of release include:
· No contact with a child under 16 unless supervised by adult aware of the charges
· Not to seek or obtain employment or volunteer position that involves being in position of trust or authority towards children under 16-years-old
· Not to attend any public park or swimming area where persons under the age of 16 years are present or can be reasonably expected to be present or daycare centre, school ground playground or community centre

Canmore RCMP seek public assistance to locate man wanted on arrest warrant
Canmore, Alta. – On Jan. 4, 2020, Canmore RCMP received a complaint of sexual interference against a young child.
Jesus Fernando Pina-Aguirre (33), previously of Canmore, Alta., has been charged with sexual interference and there is a warrant for his arrest.
Jesus Fernando Pina-Aguirre, also known as Fernando Pina, is described as:
· 5’7” tall / 143 lbs.
· Short brown hair and brown eyes
Pina-Aguirre’s current whereabouts are unknown; however, he has been known to frequent Canmore and the Calgary area.
Canmore RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Pina-Aguirre.
