Cocaine, Meth and Cash seized at two addresses in Fort McMurray, four adults charged

Fort McMurray, Alberta – On July 30, 2020, the Wood Buffalo Drug Section, with the assistance from the Crime Reduction Unit and Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team, executed a search warrant at two different residences and an associated vehicle.

As a result of a search of a residence on Dakin Drive and a vehicle, RCMP seized approximately 6 grams of a substance believed to be cocaine and over $1500 of Canadian currency.

As a result of a search of a residence on Bacon Place, RCMP seized approximately 213 grams of a substance suspected to be cocaine, approximately 124 grams of a substance suspected to be methamphetamine and over $42,000 of Canadian currency.

Two adult males and two adult females were charged.

Jeffrey Caines (47) of Fort McMurray was arrested and charged with:

· Possession for the purpose of trafficking (x2)

· Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000

· Fail to comply with conditions (x5)

Victoria Fionna Hayner (27) of Fort McMurray was arrested and charged with:

· Possession for the purpose of trafficking (x2)

· Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000

Daniel Summerfelt (39) of Fort McMurray was arrested and charged with:

· Possession for the purpose of trafficking

· Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000

Kelsy Balsor (19) of Fort McMurray was arrested and charged with:

· Possession for the purpose of trafficking

· Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000

Caines and Balsor have been remanded in custody. Summerfelt and Hayner were released. All four will be appearing in Fort McMurray Provincial Court on August 6, 2020.
