Adult male located deceased at the Petro Canada Gas Station on Highway 28 in Cold Lake, RCMP investigating

Cold Lake, Alberta – Cold Lake RCMP and RCMP Major Crimes Unit are investigating after an adult male was located deceased at the Petro Canada Gas Station on Highway 28 in Cold Lake.

On Aug. 9, 2020, at approximately 1:00 a.m., RCMP were dispatched to a report that a male had been shot in the parking lot of the Petro Canada. Four suspects left the area and police are looking for a stolen 2018 black Nissan Murano bearing Alberta licence plate BRW 5433 which was last seen on the Cold Lake First Nations this morning.

The investigation continues. An autopsy has been scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 13, 2020 at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Edmonton.
