High River RCMP charge Calgary male after rural residential Break and Enter

High River, Alberta – During the early morning hours of August 10, 2020, High River rural RCMP received a complaint of a residential Break and Enter in progress on Clear Mountain Drive in High River, Alberta. Police immediately attended and spoke with the complainant who indicated she heard noise coming from the residence garage. When she went to look she observed a male inside the garage who fled on foot.

A search of the area located a lone male in a stolen vehicle near the rural residence. Located inside the vehicle was property stolen from other residences in the same area.

Kamara Malick, age 27 from Calgary, Alberta is facing numerous Criminal Code charges including, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Break and Enter and Obstructing a Peace Officer. He has been remanded into custody to speak to his release on August 14, 2020 in Okotoks Provincial Court.
