City of London facing thousands in costs to repair damaged bus shelters

London, Ontario – London police are investigating after 25 bus shelters were damaged over the past week.

On Tuesday, September 2, 2020, London police were made aware of a number of bus shelters that were damaged between August 27 – September 1, 2020. Panes of glass were smashed in the shelters throughout the old east village and east end of the city. The combined damages are estimated to total between $25,000 – $30,000.

Investigators are looking for tips from the public in relation to the damage.
