Police in Cochrane investigating 4 sexual assaults on biking paths during August; “We feel these crimes are being perpetrated by a young offender”

Cochrane, Alberta – Cochrane RCMP are investigating 4 separate incidents of sexual assaults that have occurred on the biking paths of Cochrane in the month of August. Victims report observing the suspect on a bike who after first riding past them came back and slapped them on the buttocks. The victims, all women, were of various ages.

The suspect is described as:

-Caucasian tanned skin

– Between the ages of 12-16 years old

– 5’2 – 5’7

-Blonde to light brown hair

-Slim build

-Rides a black BMX bike with silver rims

“We feel these crimes are being perpetrated by a young offender, “says Cpl. Savinkoff of the Cochrane RCMP,” We are asking for the publics assistance in identifying this individual, additionally, we are asking that anyone else who has been victimized to come forward.”
