Leduc, Alberta – On September 3, 2020, Members of the Leduc RCMP in partnership with Leduc Integrated Traffic Unit and Leduc City Peace Officers conducted targeted traffic enforcement on Highway 2A between 3:15 p.m. and 3:45 p.m.
As a result of the targeted enforcement police conducted 48 vehicle stops, during which a Mandatory Screening Demand was made to the vehicle drivers. Subsequent to the demand, a roadside screening device was administered and all were found to be compliant. Leduc City Peace Officers assisted with vehicle document checks.
The Leduc RCMP would like to commend the community for helping to make our roads safer. We will continue to showcase our commitment to visible and pro-active enforcement as public safety is our number one priority.
