Suspicious occurrence in Kitimat, B.C. – Police hope to identify the driver of the vehicle involved

Kitimat, BC – On Thursday, September 10th 2020 at 8:20 pm, the Kitimat RCMP received a report of a suspicious incident.

An 11-year-old female was walking home from school in the Kildala area of Kitimat at 12:15 pm when a vehicle, driven by an older man stopped and offered her a ride home. She said no and the suspect drove off without any other interaction.

The suspect was described as an older Caucasian male with white hair, no facial hair and no glasses. He was driving a black SUV possibly a Chevrolet; however, no license plate was obtained.
