Burin Peninsula RCMP warns of fentanyl and morphine in illegal drugs: Newfoundland and Labrador

Marystown, Newfoundland and Labrador – Illegal drugs seized by Burin Peninsula RCMP in June have tested positive for fentanyl and a morphine derivative, both of which can cause death or serious injury.

Police have concerns that drugs laced with fentanyl and morphine continue to circulate in the community and urge residents not to consume any illegal drug because of the unknown and dangerous ingredients they may contain.
