Saskatoon Police charge man with multiple drugs charges following traffic stop

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan – A Saskatoon man is facing multiple drug charges following a traffic stop last night.

At approximately 12:30 a.m., September 17, 2020, Patrol members observed a heavily-damaged Chevrolet Cavalier traveling on the Broadway Bridge. A traffic stop was conducted on 19th Street East between 3rd and 4th Avenues South. The driver was found to have a warrant for his arrest and was taken into custody without incident. On his person, Police located a large sum of Canadian currency. More than 100g of methamphetamine, numerous cell phones, a drug scale, packaging and other items consistent with drug trafficking were located inside the vehicle.
