Police investigate suspicious package found in air passenger’s luggage: Saskatoon Police

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan – Saskatoon Police responded to a report of a suspicious package at the airport earlier this morning.

At approximately 10:30 a.m., September 21, 2020, Police were called to the Saskatoon John G. Diefenbaker International Airport after security located an electronic item that appeared suspicious in nature. The item was found in a passenger’s baggage while going through security. Members of the SPS Explosive Disposal Unit attended and removed the item.

Police cleared from the scene at approximately 1:30 p.m.
