Wood Buffalo RCMP investigate stolen portable x-ray machine valued around $50,000.00

Fort McMurray, Alberta – On August 26, 2020 Wood Buffalo RCMP were notified of a vehicle with damage to a window in the parking lot of residences along Eagle Ridge Boulevard between Confederation Way and Loutit Road. The incident is reported to have occurred between August 25, 2020 around 11:00 p.m. and August 26, 2020 around 6:30 a.m.

After the suspect(s) gained entry to the vehicle various items were stolen, including a portable x-ray machine valued around $50,000.00. If you are interested in purchasing a portable x-ray machine, or see one advertised online, please inquire about the make, model, and serial number. Wood Buffalo RCMP have this information for the portable x-ray machine that was stolen and would appreciate your assistance in locating this unit. Photos of a similar unit are attached.
