Gods Lake Narrows RCMP intercept drugs entering the community on a flight from Winnipeg

Gods Lake Narrows , Manitoba – On October 3, 2020, at approximately 12:15 pm, RCMP responded to the Gods Lake Narrows airport as part of an ongoing drug investigation.

Three females from the community, who were returning on a flight from Winnipeg, were arrested and found to be in possession of approximately 26 grams of cocaine and 9 grams of methamphetamine.

A 28-year-old female is facing charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.

A 32-year-old female is facing charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance x2 and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.

A 19-year-old female is facing charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance x2 and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.

They were released from custody and are scheduled to appear in court on December 9, 2020.
