Edmonton, Alberta – The EPS Child Protection Section has arrested and charged a 24-year-old Edmonton man in connection to a pair of sexual assaults involving teen girls alleged to have taken place over the summer.
It was reported to police that the 24-year-old male suspect began communicating with teen girls via the social media Snapchat App beginning in March 2020. Using Snapchat accounts bearing the names “Jamie Dole” and “Caramel Thunder”, the accused would allegedly post messages promising to buy girls various items. In some cases, the suspect would also request nude photographs and videos from the girls in exchange for money.
It is alleged that on Aug. 9, 2020, the accused met a 14-year-old female complainant on Snapchat, then arranged to pick her up near her home. The suspect then took the girl to his west Edmonton residence where he sexually assaulted her.

In a separate incident, the suspect is alleged to have met a 16-year-old female through the app, and sexually assaulted her on two occasions, on July 26 in a vehicle and on Aug. 5, 2020, at his residence.
Aaron Renee Prasad Pal, 24, of Edmonton, is facing multiple charges including:
Luring a child under 16 years old
Sexual assault (x3)
Sexual interference
Sexual assault with a weapon
Invitation to sexual touching
Obtaining sexual considerations
Utter threats (x2)
Unlawful confinement
Additional charges may be pending.
