Leduc RCMP investigate suspicious fire – UPDATE – Edmonton male charged with Arson

Leduc, Alberta – Following a complex investigation, Leduc RCMP General Investigation Section have charged one male in relation to this arson.

Saranjit Jhajj (39) of Edmonton was charged with Arson with disregard for human life.

Following a judicial process Saranjit Jhajj is scheduled to appear in Leduc provincial on Oct. 29, 2020

Leduc RCMP investigate suspicious fire

Leduc, Alta. – Leduc RCMP is investigating a suspicious fire in Leduc County.

On July 12, 2020 at approximately 4:00 a.m. Leduc RCMP responded to structure fire in the Silver Bear Estates area of Leduc County located near range road 234 and township 505. No one was injured as a result of the fire.

Leduc RCMP General Investigation Section is working with Leduc County Fire Services to determine the cause of the fire.
