Driftpile, Alberta – On October 10th, 2020, Lakeshore Regional Police Service (LRPS) were conducting an investigation of drug trafficking within the Driftpile Cree Nation Community. The investigation lead to the execution of a search warrant at a residence within the Driftpile Cree Nation. High Prairie RCMP and RCMP Police Dog Service provided assistance.
The search resulted in the seizure of a quantity of methamphetamine, Canadian currency, drug trafficking paraphernalia, scales, cell phones, and weapons. As a result of the search one adult female has been arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Crime Stoppers is always anonymous. LRPS community members can also submit tips and remain anonymous with any member of LRPS and are encouraged to approach LRPS officers at any time.
