Fort McMurray, Alberta – On Oct. 9, 2020, Wood Buffalo RCMP Drug Section, with the assistance from Wood Buffalo RCMP Crime Reduction Unit and Municipal Traffic Services, as well as assistance from the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams (ALERT), executed one (1) search warrant at a condo complex in downtown Fort McMurray.
As a result of the search of a residence on Riedel Street, RCMP seized approximately 166 grams of a substance believed to be cocaine and over $11,000 of Canadian currency.
One adult female and two adult males were arrested and are facing several charges.
Becky Leanne Blonski (46) of Fort McMurray, Alta., was charged with:
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking
· Trafficking Cocaine (x2)
· Fail to comply with conditions
Garry Roy Gibbons (20) of Brandon, MB., and Isaiah Thomas Molag (21) of Abbotsford, B.C., were both charged with Possession for the purpose of trafficking.
All three, Becky Blondski, Garry Gibbons and Isaiah Molag, are set to appear for court today, Oct. 13, 2020, at the Fort McMurray Provincial Court House.
