Male allegedly points firearm at multiple individuals in Regina, arrested

Regina, Saskatchewan – On Sunday, October 11, 2020 at approximately 3:00 p.m., police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Cameron Street for a report of a firearms offence. Information provided to police suggested a male suspect had pointed a firearm at an individual inside a residence. When police arrived, they surrounded the home and located the suspect male; he was taken into custody without incident. In a search incident to arrest, police located ammunition and part of a firearm (stock) inside the residence.

Police investigation revealed the suspect male is alleged to have pointed a firearm at multiple individuals inside the residence. Nobody was physically injured in the incident.

As a result: 27 year-old Sunray James CRANE, of Regina, has been charged with:

2 X Assault With A Weapon [CC 267 (A)];

Fail To Comply With Probation Order [CC 733.1 (1)].

CRANE made his first court appearance this morning (Tuesday, October 13, 2020) at 9:30 a.m.
