Autopsy complete in Saturday death; detectives seeking tips on suspect vehicle: Edmonton Police

Edmonton, Alberta – The Edmonton Medical Examiner has completed the autopsy on a male who died on scene on Oct. 10, 2020.

It has been determined that Jessie Ducharme, 32, died from stab wounds, and the manner of death is homicide.

Detectives are looking to speak with anyone who witnessed the blue Lincoln, pictured, in the vicinity of 180 Street and 74 Avenue around 6 p.m. on Saturday. Background

Southwest Division patrol members responded to a call for service at a complex near 180 Street and 74 Avenue at approximately 6:40 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020.

Upon arrival, members found a male lying on the ground outside the complex in medical distress. Despite the life-saving efforts of both officers and paramedics, the male died on scene.
