Suspect flees store after attempting to return items just removed from shelf: Camrose Police Service Report

Camrose, Alberta – October 15, 2020 – Police were advised that a male was staying at a residence contrary to his Emergency Protection Order. Police attended the residence and the male was arrested and later released with new charges of breaching his conditions.

Police attended to a collision at 48 avenue and 47 street where a young cyclist was struck by a vehicle. It was determined that a vehicle was conducting a right hand turn at the intersection when the cyclist entered the crosswalk without dismounting from his bike. The cyclist was fortunate to only have suffered minor injuries.

The loss prevention officer at a west end business contacted Police when a male fled the store after he attempted to return items that he had just removed from the shelf. Police arrested the male when he was located hiding in his vehicle. The male who had outstanding warrants out of Three Hills was charged with fraud, theft and breaching conditions of his probation.

A west end business advised that a person with an active trespass notice had entered their store. The person was located and issued a violation ticket for trespassing.

Police received a 911 call from a male advising that his intoxicated sister was causing issues at his residence. The female continued to cause problems and was arrested to prevent further breach of the peace and released the following morning
