Cochrane RCMP on scene for Bomb Threat at Southland Transportation – CONCLUDED

Cochrane, Alberta – Cochrane RCMP have visually searched every Cochrane Southland transportation bus as well its facilities. No suspicious objects have been located. Police have cleared Southland to resume normal operations. Cochrane RCMP continue their investigation into this matter.

BACKGROUND

Cochrane Alberta – Cochrane RCMP are on scene at The Southland Transportation Yard on Griffin Road in the town of Cochrane.

Cochrane RCMP have few details at this point however, there has been a threat received to both a bus and or a Southland Transportation Building. Busses are being redirected back to the Southland office and officers will be continue to assess the situation and conduct searches.
