Kitscoty RCMP arrest two after home invasion at a residence in the County of Vermilion River, seek two more

County of Vermilion River, Alberta – On Oct. 18, 2020 at approximately 6:00 a.m., Kitscoty RCMP responded to a complaint of an assault at a residence in the County of Vermilion River.

Further investigation determined four suspects, two males and two females attended a residence and committed a home invasion, robbery involving a displayed firearm and aggravated assault. Two adult victims suffered injuries.

The two female suspects were identified and later arrested and charged in relation to this incident.

Tamara Snell (46) of Lloydminster, SK was charged with break and enter, aggravated assault and assault.

Jordan Lysohirka (24) of Lloydminster, SK was charged with robbery with a firearm, break and enter and aggravated assault.

Both accused were released after a judicial hearing and will be appearing in Lloydminster Provincial Court on Nov. 24, 2020.

Police do not believe this was a random incident. The two male suspects have not yet been identified and Kitscoty RCMP would like to speak to anyone with knowledge of this incident and the persons involved.
