Two Londoners are facing charges after more than half a million dollars worth of drugs and cash seized

London, Ontario – On Wednesday, October 28, 202, members of the LPS Guns and Drugs Section executed search warrants at residences on Alayne Crescent and Mornington Avenue, as well as two vehicles.

The following items were seized:

1703 grams of suspected methamphetamine, value $153,270

1226 grams of suspected fentanyl, value $306,500

One gram of suspected carfentanil, value $250

2019 Dodge Ram Pickup, value $60,000

Gold jewelry, value $100,000

$100,000 in cash

Six cellular phones

As a result of the investigation, Shawn Calvin Penner, 31, of London, is charged with five counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking.

Teresa MacDonald, 48, also of London, is charged with two counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking.

Both of the accused are expected to appear in London court on a later date in relation to the charges.

The Guns and Drugs Section is comprised of members of the London Police Service and Ontario Provincial Police. This investigation has been made possible by a grant from the Ministry of the Solicitor General.
