Four people arrested; drugs, drug paraphernalia and money seized in Moncton and Dieppe, N.B.

Moncton and Dieppe, New Brunswick – Police have arrested four people and seized drugs, drug paraphernalia and money in Moncton and Dieppe, N.B., as part of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking.

On November 5, 2020, at approximately 8:45 p.m., police executed two search warrants simultaneously at homes on Gauvin Road and Highlandview Road.

Police seized a quantity of what is believed to be cocaine, as well as drug-trafficking paraphernalia, ammunition, a set of brass knuckles and an undisclosed amount of money.


The investigation was conducted as part of a coordinated law enforcement approach that involves resources from the New Brunswick RCMP, Woodstock Police Force and Fredericton Police Force. These efforts focus on disrupting and dismantling the trafficking of illegal drugs in our province, targeting those causing the most harm in our communities. The RCMP Police Dog Services also assisted during the searches.

During the searches, police arrested a 24-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman, both from Moncton, and a 23-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman, both from Dieppe. The four individuals were later released and are scheduled to appear in Moncton Provincial Court on April 20, 2021.
