Innisfail RCMP investigate collision involving stolen vehicle, arrest suspect from Red Deer

Innisfail, Alberta – A two vehicle head-on collision on Nov. 6 led to an arrest and the recovery of a stolen vehicle.

At 8:31 a.m., Innisfail RCMP responded to the collision on Lakewood Drive. A car and an SUV collided while travelling in opposite directions. The driver of the car suffered minor injuries and the driver of the SUV was transported to hospital where he was treated for minor injuries and released.

RCMP determined that the SUV was stolen earlier out of Red Deer. Jordan Kyle Glasgow (20), the driver of the SUV, is charged with possession of stolen property, operation of a vehicle while prohibited, fail to comply with an undertaking condition and fail to comply with a probation order (x2), as well as two charges under the Traffic Safety Act.

Glasgow remains in custody pending his court appearance on Nov. 23, 2020.
