Bacon Ridge, Manitoba – On November 20, 2020, at approximately 6:00 pm, Ste-Rose du Lac RCMP, Manitoba West District Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team, and RCMP Police Dog Services executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act warrant at a residence in Bacon Ridge, Manitoba.
After searching the residence, police seized cocaine, unstamped cigarettes, an amount of marihuana and marihuana products beyond what would be for personal use, an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency, several firearms, and soft body armour.
Five individuals were arrested at the scene. Two males, 52 and 20, and a 51-year-old female, all from Bacon Ridge, were arrested inside the home and face a multitude of firearm- and drug-related charges. Two other males – a 58-year-old male from Bacon Ridge and a 32-year-old male from Ebb and Flow First Nation – were also arrested at the residence for refusing to leave the scene.
All of the arrested individuals have since been released.
The investigation continues.
