Fort Vermilion RCMP seek assistance in locating Suspect involved in Break and Enter

Fort Vermilion, Alberta – One person is facing Break and Enter charges after Fort Vermilion RCMP received a report of an alleged break and enter into the Sheridan Lawrence Hotel office.

On November 22, 2020 at approximately 9:26 a.m., Fort Vermilion RCMP were called regarding an early morning theft from the office of the Sheridan Lawrence Hotel. During the investigation, video surveillance was obtained and a suspect was observed breaking in and stealing cash.

As a result, an arrest warrant was issued and the Fort Vermilion RCMP are seeking the assistance of the public to locate the following suspect:

Jarrett Ducharme (25) of Fort Vermilion, who has been charged with:

· Break and Enter with intent to commit theft under $5000, contrary to Sect. 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code

The suspect is known to frequent the regions of Fort Vermilion and High Level and should not be approached.
