Sylvan Lake, Alberta – The RCMP are investigating a Nov. 29 break in to, and theft from, over 40 mailboxes within the lobby of an apartment building. Public assistance is being sought to identify the male believed to be responsible.
At 4:24 a.m., a male entered the apartment building on Hinshaw Drive and pried open 40 resident mailboxes, removing mail from within the mailboxes. He departed in a vehicle. A surveillance photo was taken and is provided in the attachment, but unfortunately captures only a small portion of his face.
The Sylvan Lake RCMP, with Canada Post, are investigating this theft.
