Leduc RCMP execute search warrant and charge one male, recover stolen property with an approximate value of $15,000

Leduc, Alberta – On Dec. 5, 2020, members of the Leduc RCMP with the assistance of Drayton Valley RCMP, Leduc General Investigation Section, Leduc Crime Reduction Unit, and RCMP Auto Theft Unit executed a search warrant on a residence in the area of Township Road 491 and Range Road 263 in Leduc County. One male was arrested.

As a result of the search warrant, Leduc RCMP recovered stolen property with an approximate value of $15,000. Some of the items recovered were an Industrial printer and 5 Dialight LED industrial lights.

A search of the property also led to the discovery of dynamite. RCMP Explosive Disposal Unit was called in to assist in the safe disposal of these explosives.

Timothy Stuparyk (34) of Leduc County is charged with the following offences:

· Possession of stolen property over $5000.

· Possession of a restricted weapon X2

· Unauthorized possession of a firearm

· Possession of explosives

· Possession of methamphetamine

A bail hearing was held and he was released to attend court in Leduc on January 7, 2021.
