Traffic stop results in drug and weapon seizure, man from Taber charged: Lethbridge Police

Lethbridge, Alberta – On December 19, 2020 at approximately 0500 hours members of the LPS Canine Unit, Downtown Policing Unit and Patrols conducted a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle that had no license plate on it after it was seen doing a quick transaction with another vehicle in a north Lethbridge parking lot. The driver was identified as Andrew HALL and was arrested for multiple breaches of his Release Order conditions including a 24 hours curfew .

During the search incidental to arrest members located a machete, bear spray, metal airsoft hand gun, 5.5 g of meth, 3.1g of fentanyl, 2.1g of crack cocaine, packaging, scales and cash.

During the search incidental to arrest members located a machete, bear spray, metal airsoft hand gun, 5.5 g of meth, 3.1g of fentanyl, 2.1g of crack cocaine, packaging, scales and cash. The total value of street drugs seized is over $3000. The 39 year old driver Andrew HALL from Taber, Alberta, was charged with multiple drug trafficking, weapons, damaging a police vehicle and breach charges stemming from the traffic stop. HALL was transported to LSP for a bail hearing and was remanded into custody until the 21st of December, 2020.
