Camrose, Alberta – December 30, 2020 – The owner of a vehicle reported that someone entered his unlocked vehicle overnight while parked on 49 avenue in the 6200 block. A set a cross country skis and poles were stolen.
Just prior to midnight Police received information that a break & enter was occurring at a downtown business. Police attended where a male was located inside the building. The male was arrested and found to be in possession of two boxes containing full sets of keys, blank cheques and other miscellaneous property belonging to the business. The male was also found to be in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine. The 19 year old was charged with Break & Enter to commit Theft, Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Breaching his Probation Order. The male was also identified as the person responsible for a break & enter at another business over the weekend. He was additionally charged with Break & Enter to commit Theft, Possession of Stolen Property and Breaching his Probation Order. The male is in custody waiting on a bail hearing.
