Parkland RCMP investigate arson in the village of Alberta Beach

Alberta Beach, Alberta – On Dec. 24, 2020 at 6:14 a.m., Parkland RCMP responded to a report of an arson in the area of 45 Avenue and 44 Street in the village of Alberta Beach. The victim woke up to discover that his snow machine and quad were on fire. The fire was extinguished by the Onoway Regional Fire Department. There was significant damage to the snow machine and minor damage to the quad. No one was injured.

The matter is still under investigation

The Parkland RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance. The offence is believed to have occurred between 5:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on Thursday Dec. 24, 2020.
