Parkland County, Alberta – On Jan. 1, 2021 at 9:44 p.m. Parkland RCMP responded to a report of a break and enter into a residence in the area on Moonlight Bay, Township 531 and Range Road 40. The complainant reported that she was outside her residence and could hear what sounded like someone banging on her neighbor’s cabin and she believed someone was breaking in. The complainant stated the suspects departed the location in a vehicle. She provided the direction of travel, a detailed description of the vehicle and obtained a license plate.
As a result of the information provided by the complainant, the RCMP were able to locate the suspect vehicle, arrest the suspects and recover the stolen property.
The four suspect males, ages 21, 26, 29 and 30 from the Duffield area were all charged with break and enter with intent. Their first appearance is scheduled for Feb. 24, 2021. Their names will not be released at this time as their court documents are in the process of being sworn.
Thanks to the detailed information provided by the complaint, Parkland RCMP were able to apprehend the suspects and return the stolen property.
