Saskatoon, Saskatchewan – Members of the Saskatoon Integrated Crime Reduction Team (ICRT) have concluded a one week investigation in the methamphetamine trafficking activities of several Saskatoon residents.
On January 21, 2021, a traffic stop was conducted in the area of 15th Street and Weldon Avenue where a 26-year-old man and two women, age 23 and 37, were found to be in possession of methamphetamine and cash consistent with trafficking.
Later that evening, an additional traffic stop was conducted on a related vehicle in the area of 33rd Street and Warman Road resulting in the arrest of a 48-year-old female and a 32-year-old male who were also found to be in possession of methamphetamine, cash, a stun gun, knives, scales and other items consistent with drug trafficking.
A search warrant was executed at a residence in the 700 block of Lenore Drive where further evidence of drug trafficking was located.
In total, 487 grams of methamphetamine, $6325 cash, and small amounts of cocaine and fentanyl were seized.
The arrested persons are facing a total of 19 drug and weapons related charges. (Court Info #’s 991151948, 991151951, 991151937, 991151946, 991151939, 991151943, and 991151944).
ICRT is funded by the Government of Saskatchewan through the Ministry of Justice, Corrections and Policing. ICRT is an investigative body comprised of personnel from partner agencies from the Saskatoon Police Service and the RCMP ‘F’ Division.
