Winnipeg Police seize drugs and firearms, arrest three

Winnipeg, Manitoba – On January 25, 2021, at 4:25 a.m., A female called 911 and reported she had been assaulted and threatened by three males at a residence in the 200 block of Doncaster Boulevard. She indicated that the males had firearms in their possession and had fled in a taxi. Officers attended to the victim, and her injuries did not require medical attention.

Additional police units in the nearby area located the taxi, and three people were taken into custody, and firearms were recovered.

An 18-year-old adult male and two youth males aged 15 and 17, from Winnipeg, were charged with numerous assault, firearms, and drug-related offences. All three individuals were detained in custody.

a loaded Ruger rifle and ammunition

a loaded sawed-off shotgun and ammunition

hunting knife

handcuffs

dime bags of cocaine and Xanax pills
