Autopsy completed into death of 53-year-old male over the weekend: Edmonton Police

Edmonton, Alberta – An autopsy conducted by the Edmonton Medical Examiner was completed yesterday, Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2021, into the suspicious death of a 53-year-old male last Sunday.

The Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy yesterday on the body of Terry Allen Maksymyszyn, 53. Cause and manner of death are not being released at this time for investigative purposes.

Background:

At approximately 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021, Northwest Division patrol members responded to a trouble unknown call at a residence near 128 Avenue and 129 Street.

Upon arrival, members found an unconscious male inside the residence. Members commenced CPR measures on the male until EMS arrived, after which time he was treated and transported to hospital by paramedics.

At approximately 4:20 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 24, 2021, the male succumbed to his injuries.
