Saint-Ignace, New Brunswick – A second individual has been charged in connection with the March 2020 death of 39-year-old Erika Ann Vautour of Saint-Ignace, N.B.
Thirty-two-year-old Noel Sock, who is serving time in the Southeast Provincial Detention Centre on an unrelated matter, was arrested on January 27, 2021. He appeared in Moncton Provincial Court by tele-remand on January 28 and was charged with the following offences:
manslaughter while using a firearm
reckless discharging of a prohibited firearm
robbery with a prohibited firearm
wearing a disguise with intent to commit an offence

Noel Sock was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in court on February 25.
On March 8, 2020 shortly after 6:30 a.m., members of the Richibucto RCMP responded to a home on Saint-Ignace Road for a report of a woman who was found unresponsive. A 39-year-old woman from Saint-Ignace was transported to hospital where she later died. It was determined that the woman was a victim of a homicide. She was later identified as Erika Ann Vautour.
On December 19, 2020, Kelsey Marie Dawn Clair was charged with manslaughter while using a firearm. She was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in Moncton Provincial Court at later date for a bail hearing.
The investigation is ongoing.
