Fort McMurray, Alberta – On Feb. 2, 2020, Wood Buffalo RCMP responded to a break and enter to a business near the intersection of Biggs Avenue and Main Street and discovered three businesses had been broken into. It is believed these incidents occurred between the close of business on Monday to 5:00 a.m., Tuesday morning.
The RCMP investigation into this incident is on-going and police are seeking the assistance of the public in reporting any suspicious individuals or behaviour that may have been observed in the area during the times noted above. Police are requesting anyone/businesses in the area with possible video surveillance systems or dash camera recordings to review their footage and contact Wood Buffalo RCMP at 780-788-4040, if they have not yet shared suspicious activity in this area with police.
Wood Buffalo RCMP Forensic Identification Section was engaged and is providing assistance in this investigation.
