Penticton, BC – On February 15th, 2021, at approximately 7:40 p.m., first responders were called to the intersection of Nanaimo Avenue and Winnipeg Street after a report of a pedestrian having been struck by a vehicle. The vehicle did not remain at the scene.
Penticton RCMP attended the scene, where a 68-year-old man with visible trauma was being treated by BC Ambulance personnel. The man was transported to the Penticton Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
“The Penticton RCMP has many resources assisting with this investigation, and is asking for any witnesses or any person that may have dash camera and surveillance video of this incident, to contact them,” indicated Cst. James Grandy.
