Second person, last known location of Regina, sought in connection with 2020 homicide: Calgary Police

Calgary, Alberta – Nearly one year ago, Sheldon WOLF came to visit Calgary from Carrot River, Sask., but he never returned home.

WOLF, 47, was the victim of a homicide after meeting with several people on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2020. His body was located north of Airdrie two days later and his death ruled a homicide.

Investigators believe WOLF left the downtown Sandman Hotel and met willingly with several people whom he had no previous relationship with. One of those individuals is alleged to have been Fayiah (Victor) BRAIMA, 23, of Calgary. He was charged last year with first-degree murder and is awaiting trial.

Detectives continue to search for others who are believed to have been with WOLF prior to and at the time of his death. A person of interest has been identified and is now being sought in connection with the homicide.

We are looking for Sharmarke Ali MOHAMOD, 22, whose last known address was in Regina, Sask. MOHAMOD also has ties to the Toronto area.

It’s alleged MOHAMOD exited a white Infiniti QX4 and then entered a Toyota Scion with WOLF already inside minutes before the homicide.

A photo of MOHAMOD and the Infiniti QX4 are being publicly released today.
