Regina Police Issue Two Tickets for Disobeying Public Health Order

Regina, Saskatchewan – The Regina Police Service has issued two Summary Offence tickets under the Saskatchewan Public Health Act for violation of the provinces Public Health Order on COVID-19.

On Saturday, February 20, 2021 at approximately 2:00 p.m. the Regina Police Service monitored an event organized to protest the provinces Public Health Orders regarding COVID-19. Approximately twenty people were in attendance at the protest which took place in the 2100 block of Victoria Avenue.

Two adult females were issued tickets for failing to comply with the Public Health order by participating in an outdoor gathering that exceeded 10 persons.
