Hinton RCMP investigate theft of truck from local dealership

Hinton, Alberta – Hinton RCMP are currently investigating a theft of a truck from the Big Rock Dodge dealership on Tocher Avenue in Hinton, Alta.

On March 2, 2021 at 10:37 a.m., Hinton RCMP responded to the dealership for a theft of truck that occurred earlier that morning at approximately 6:30 a.m. Police believe a red 1999-2008 GMC Sierra, with chrome bottom panels entered the lot, dropping off the suspect.

The suspect then stole a 1999 Matte Black, Dodge 3500 Ram with chrome rims. It may be bearing Alberta licence plate BYS5289. The suspect is described as having a slim build, wearing a dark hoodie and a brimmed hat.
