Rifle, Drugs and Cash Seized; Two Londoners facing charges

London, Ontario – On March 5, 2021, members of our LPS Street Gang Unit, with the assistance of members of our Emergency Response Unit, executed search warrants at addresses in the 600-block of Fieldgate Circle and the 300-block of Marconi Gate.

The following items were seized:

.22 calibre rifle

Prohibited knife

910 grams of cocaine, value $109, 200

Seven (7) kilograms of Phenacetin

Cocaine press

Bullet proof vest

Two expandable batons

Assorted jewelry

Money counter

Two cellular phones

Approximately $10,000 in cash

As a result of the investigation, Justin Tyrone Faraj, 31, and Natalia Ramirez, 32, both of London, have been jointly charged with the following Criminal Code and Controlled Drugs and Substances Act offences:

Unauthorized possession of a prohibited device or ammunition;

Possess firearm other than restricted or prohibited firearm knowingly not holding a licence; and

Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking.

Both of the accused are scheduled to appear in London court on May 28, 2021 in relation to the charges.
