Fort Saskatchewan RCMP Charge 2 Males in Residential Break and Enter in the Westpark area

Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta – On March 10th, 2021, at approximately 7:15am, the Fort Saskatchewan RCMP responded to a residential Break and Enter in progress in the Westpark area. Upon arrival, police learned that 2 males entered the residence while the homeowner was inside. The homeowner was not harmed during his encounter with the suspects, and was able to run to a neighbours house to call the police. The suspects had departed the scene prior to police arriving, however, members of the Strathcona Country RCMP Detachment were able to locate and arrest them both shortly after, without further incident. The investigation continued throughout the day with the assistance of the RCMP’s Forensic Identification Unit.

Steve MELTON, a 64 year old male from Edmonton, and Dallan MOSER, a 27 year old male from Elk Point, were charged with Break and Enter to a Residence, Wearing a Mask in the Commission of an Indictable Offence, Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000, Possession of Break In Tools, and Unlawful Use of Credit Card x 2. Dallan MOSER also faced one additional charge of Failing to Comply with Conditions. Both males were brought before the Justice of the Peace where the matters were held over for court today.
