Airdrie RCMP investigate early morning impaired driver after Superstore parking lot collision, Edmonton woman charged

Airdrie, Alberta – On Apr. 6, 2021 at approximately 7:30 a.m., Airdrie RCMP responded to a complaint of a collision involving a car and a pallet of fencing located in the Superstore parking lot in Airdrie, Alta. This pallet of fencing was there in preparation for building the garden center. Reports indicated that a smaller red car collided with the pallet of fencing and then drove directly to the Canadian Tire parking lot.

Upon arrival, RCMP determined that the 27 year old driver from Edmonton, Alberta, had been drinking. She was not injured in the collision.

As a result of driving while over the legal limit under the Immediate Roadside Sanctions Program, her vehicle was seized for a 30 day period and she received a 90 day driver’s licence suspension.
