Leduc RCMP investigate fatal collision between bicycle and truck, 56-year-old female pronounced deceased

A 56-year-old female from Leduc, Alta. was pronounced deceased at the scene

Leduc, Alberta – On March 31, 2021 at approximately 7:45 p.m., Leduc RCMP responded to a collision involving a truck and a bicycle on Highway 623 east of Range Road 245.

The truck was travelling westbound when it collided with a bicycle that was also travelling westbound.

A 56-year-old female from Leduc, Alta. was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The truck driver did not sustain any injuries.

The RCMP Collision Analyst attended the scene to assist in the investigation.

The collision remains under investigation; however further updates are not anticipated.
