Camrose Police Service Report to April 8, 2021

A male reported that several of his cheques had been stolen and cashed at different banks in Camrose totaling $5000.

Camrose, Alberta – April 8, 2021 – A male reported that several of his cheques had been stolen and cashed at different banks in Camrose totaling $5000. Police have identified suspects and are continuing their investigation.

Staff from a local hotel contacted Police after receiving complaints of a couple who was causing a disturbance in one of their rooms. The involved male was gone prior to Police arrival and the female was evicted from the hotel. A short time later the same female was causing a disturbance at the front desk of another hotel as she was checking in. The female was served a trespass notice and once again sent on her way.

April 7, 2021

A male reported that someone had punched out the lock and ignition on his 2001 Ford F350 while it was parked along 48th avenue overnight. Police are investigating.

Several 911 calls were received from a male who was in a frantic state and requesting EMS. The male was transported to St. Mary’s hospital for treatment.

Hotel staff contacted Police regarding an intoxicated male causing issues in their hotel. The male was arrested for public intoxication and later released without charges.
